COVID-19 support assistance for NSW workers and businesses

Support for workers

COVID-19 Disaster Payment - a weekly payment (between $375 - $750) from Services Australia for eligible employees affected by the COVID-19 Lockdown Support for business

For detailed information refer to the Service NSW website:

  • 2021 COVID-19 Business Grant - one-off grant between $7,500 - $15,000 to eligible businesses impacted by the Greater Sydney COVID-19 restrictions. You must have experienced a decline in turnover of at least 30% for at least two weeks during the period 26 June 2021 - 17 July 2021 compared to the same period in 2019.

  • JobSaver - payments of between $1,500 per week and $10,000 per week, depending on your business weekly payroll to help maintain employee headcount and provide cash flow support. Non-employing businesses may be eligible to receive a payment of $1,000 per week. You must have experienced a decline in turnover of at least 30% for at least two weeks during the period commencing 26 June 2021 compared to the same period in 2019.

  • Micro Business Grant - fortnightly payments of $1,500 for business with a turnover between $30,000 - $75,000. You must have experienced a decline in turnover of at least 30% for at least two weeks during the period commencing 26 June 2021 compared to the same period in 2019.
